The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the examination conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in B.Tech, B.Arch and B Planning in the top institutes in different parts of the country. The JEE Main is the first phase of the examination, and its score is valid for admission to various colleges. The second phase of examination after JEE Main is JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced Admit Card
The candidates can download the admit card from the official website if the application form is submitted successfully. The JEE Advanced Admit Card should be carried to the examination hall along with an identity proof issued by the government or by school authorities. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the details like the registration number, email ID, date of birth and mobile number. Once the submit button is clicked after entering the details, a new window will open on the computer screen displaying the admit card. The student must thoroughly check the details on the admit card before downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, it has to be reported to the concerned authorities immediately. The admit card should be kept safely by the candidates till the counselling process is completed.
JEE Advanced Answer Keys
The JEE Advanced is conducted on a rotational basis by one of the top seven IITs. The institute that conducts the examination will provide the JEE Advanced Answer Keys for that particular year. The answer keys are released on the official website. The aim of providing the answer key is to help the candidates know the correct answers to the questions asked in the examination.
The exam conducting body also provides facilities for raising objections against the answers provided in the answer key. The candidates can provide the answer they think is correct and challenge the authorities. A 24-hour window is provided to submit the queries. The candidates must pay the processing fee and upload the supporting documents to submit their answers. The panel will carefully check the answer to that particular question and give the final verdict.
Important points to remember before raising the challenge
- The candidates must raise the challenge only if they are absolutely sure that there is a discrepancy in the answer provided by the authority.
- The candidate can challenge more than one question.
- If the answer given by the candidate is found to be correct by the authority, then they are awarded the extra marks, and the fee is refunded.
- The challenge of the question being out of the syllabus is not to be considered.
- If there is a change made in the answer key, it will change for everyone.
